Possibilities for mines
The rapid industrialisation of China, India and other developing countries has increased global demand for raw materials and made it profitable to open new mines and mine ores in every more challenging conditions. This has increased the demand for design in the mining industry, but at the same time made the work more demanding than previously.
Our clients in the mining industry gave CTS Engtec a strong base in mine design as early as the 1970s when we were mainly involved in maintenance design for concentrators. As mining picked up during this last decade, we have been able to extend our activities to design for opening, basic design and implementation of new mines.
