Once again in the history of successful CTS projects, the end of one commission is on the horizon, as the production run at the Kaukaan Voima (KauVo) biopower plant has started.
CTS's highly skilled project team together with specialists from ÅF-Consult has again managed to demonstrate its technical expertise, flexibility and resourcefulness in what is a very demanding area of design work. The very positive verbal and written feedback received from the customer during the course of the project attests to this. Of course, every project has its own problems and difficulties. Fortunately, these have been very minor at KauVo, given the scale of the job.
The KauVo project has helped CTS staff to continue to broaden their expertise in the field of energy engineering and to develop and diversify the companys range of services alongside the project.
The two and a half years spent on this project is bound to have enormous importance for the future development of the energy business generally. We are not in a position to estimate its value as yet, but it will not be long before CTS´s hugely increased expertise will begin to reap its rewards.
CTS will be continuing to produce the project's 'as built' documentation for some areas.
