Alexander Stubb met up with representatives of

Minister of European Affairs and Foreign Trade Alexander Stubb visited St. Petersburg on Wednesday, the 30th of May.
Minister Stubb participated in Finnish Business in St. Petersburg event organized by the Finnish-Russian Chamber of Commerce, which attracted more than 100 representatives of Finnish companies. The companies presented the Finnish know-how to St.Peterburg's decision-makers and industry representatives.
CTS Engtec´s representatives, MD Antti Lukka and General Manager Seppo Mäkinen met up with Minister Stubb in the occasion. Seppo Mäkinen introduced CTS Engtec's operations in Russia.
On behalf of Kymenlaakso-Russian Trade Guild , Mr. Mäkinen presented Minister Stubb a diploma and a badge saying "Gorjachie finskie parni" ("hot-blooded Finnish men").
Minister Stubb said he was happy with the export of Finnish know-how. He was clearly proud to have received this special recognition and promised to tell the Finnish Minister of Defence , mr. Jyri Häkämies, about it. He assumes that minister Häkämies hasn´t yet received the recognition.
During his visit, Minister Stubb had bilateral discussions with Leningrad Region Governor Alexander Drozdenko. The theme was the promotion of economic cooperation between Finland and Leningrad region.
